Meet Meg
I am a psychotherapist at StonyCreek Psychotherapy and Wellness, offering services to individuals 12 and up at StonyCreek’s locations in Falmouth and South Portland, as well as on telehealth. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices. I help clients work through life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting, family and marriage issues, career changes, and the general “messiness” of life that can leave us feeling directionless and “stuck.” I take an active role when working with clients and collaborate to help them understand their past, accept the present, and commit to making changes that will achieve the future they want.
I also offer online private coaching services for teens and adults. In my coaching practice, I specialize in helping people reach personal and professional development goals. Examples include building leadership skills, setting health and wellness goals, improving parenting skills, and strengthening relationships. Coaching is focused and goal-oriented. Together, we identify your objectives and personal values, create an action plan, and partner to break large, vague, and overwhelming goals into smaller, achievable steps. Coaching services do not address trauma, depression, or severe anxiety. The purpose of coaching is to partner with me to help you align with your values, move intentionally, and reach specific goals relatively quickly.
Outside of clinical practice and coaching, my husband and I, along with our two children and dog, are proud to call Maine home and enjoy all this beautiful state has to offer.
